По данным канадских СМИ сообщили 2 мая, Нидерланды освещения гигант Philips планирует закрыть город, расположенный в Корнуолл, Онтарио, Канада производитель освещения Philips Canlyte. Завод в серийное производство в 1987 году, оригинальная часть канадского производителя освещения бренда Genlyte Group Canlyte. В 2008 году Philips приобрела после того, как Genlyte Group, завод был переименован Philips Canlyte.
Понятно, Philips Canlyte завод будет официально закрыт в марте 2015 года До этого завода будет постепенно прекратить производство ламп накаливания, светодиодные лампы и производственные задачи, которые будут переданы на другие заводы в Северной Америке.
Завод, как ожидается, вывести увольняемых работников 190 человек. Santina Giuliano Philips представитель заявил, что компания является сотрудником связанных компенсации соглашения уведомление.
Philips говорит, что все больше и больше предприятий и отраслей, участвующих в производстве светодиодных ламп, изменения спроса на рынке является причиной этого вывода завода.
